Haiti is one of the small Islands in the Caribbean. Its population is about 8 to 9 million people with a majority of 95% black, 5% mulatto and white. This small country used to be called “The Ruby of the Antilles” for its rare and remarkable beauty.

The turmoil and the unrest of the political structure plunged the country into poverty and misery. The lack of revenue and production made it depend mostly on foreign help for its survival. The American Societies had been for many years one of the closest helpers to Haiti. Missionaries from different denominations poured their resources and their efforts with the indigenes to evangelize the lost.

There are over 51% of nominal Christians in Haiti not including Catholic, according to the recent survey. You can now find a Church of varying sizes on every corner, but when you look closely, something is not right. You can notice that the people are living under a spirit of bondage.

That curse could be traced from our fore fathers who dedicated the country to Satan during the war of our independence from France. The political unrest and misery plunge the country into desolation and despair.

GPA. Is a ministry which focuses on Repentance, intense Prayer and teaching of the word of God that would eventually lead to a revival or a harvest of souls in the Island of Haiti?

We can do all things through Christ who strengthen us Ph 4: 13.

GPA. Is teaming up with a network of pastors, laymen and Christian leaders through prayers in fasting to renounce and break that curse over the country.

Our people, the Haitians, are praying and fasting a lot due to the stricken poverty in Haiti. They spend long hours in prayer and their main prayer base is on everyday survival for the next meal. But there is something more important than material things even better than food. Moreover, if these precious people were trained properly in the way of the Lord, heaven and earth will move at the stroke of their prayer knocking.

Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keeps the law, happy is he. Prov. 29:18

I’m currently working on a booklet that will be printed soon.

It is an intense prayer workshop study on:

  1. How to pray

  1. Prayer that gets results

Avada Church is a movement of churches working together to change the nation through a network of church leaders, national gatherings, training events and resources. Giving God all the glory he deserves.

To enable this to happen there are people and teams all across the nation pushing this common vision. All this requires time, investment and application of the gifts God has given to each of us.
